Ciprofloxacin HCl is a broad-spectrum antibacterial drug, which is suitable for heavy mixed infections, mainly used for chronic respiratory tract, E. coli, infectious rhinitis, avian cholera, avian typhoid fever and so on.
Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride causes bacterial death by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and blocking DNA synthesis and replication. Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride has strong antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, Klebsiella and other Enterobacteriaceae species; The antibacterial effect against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae is superior to norfloxacin and pefloxacin. It is used for otitis media, otitis externa and myringitis caused by sensitive bacteria.
