Diclofenac potassium has significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, and its mechanism of action is mainly to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. When joints and muscles are sprained, tooth extractions and surgery are performed, aseptic inflammation, tissue edema, and pain can occur, and with the production of inflammation, the local synthesis and release of prostaglandins from the injury increases. Diclofenac potassium reduces the local synthesis and release of prostaglandins from injury, and plays an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.
