Esomeprazole magnesium is mainly used for the treatment of gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers and reflux esophagitis caused by excessive acid secretion. Esomeprazole magnesium is indicated for the following symptoms: 1. For gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). 2. Treatment of erosive reflux esophagitis. 3. Long-term maintenance therapy to prevent recurrence in patients with esophagitis who have been cured. 4. Symptom control of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). 5. Combined with appropriate antibacterial therapy for eradicating Helicobacter pylori infection-associated peptic ulcer healing and preventing its recurrence. 6. For patients receiving continuous treatment with NSAIDs to reduce the risk of gastric ulcer development. 7. It is used to treat chest and stomach burning pain of liver and stomach discord. 8. For the treatment of stomach pain, acid swallowing, choking, hiccups.
