Felodipine is used to treat conditions such as hypertension, ischemic heart disease, and heart failure.
The mechanism of felodipine action is mainly in two aspects: (1) it can reduce systemic blood pressure; (2) It can make the glomerular afferent arterioles get a lasting dilation.
