Ropinirole hydrochloride is mainly used for the treatment of early idiopathic Parkinson's disease. Ropinirole hydrochloride is a dopamine D2 receptor agonist, a selective non-ergoline dopamine D2 receptor agonist. Ropinirole hydrochloride has a simple chemical structure very similar to natural dopamine, acts on postsynaptic receptors in the striatum, compensates for dopamine deficiency, and compensates for improving sympathetic tension. Ropinirole hydrochloride can also be used as an adjunct to patients who have already developed switching on and off. It can directly act on synaptic receptors and produce continuous stimulation of them, thereby slowing down the motor fluctuations of L-Dopa, reducing its difficulty in action and reducing the dosage.
