Tylosin tartrate is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of mycoplasma infection in chickens, turkeys and other animals, and has only a preventive effect on mycoplasma in pigs without therapeutic effect. In addition, tylosin is also used for pneumonia, mastitis, metritis and enteritis caused by infections such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Vibrio coli and spirochetes, but has no obvious effect on infections such as Escherichia coli and Pasteurella. Tylosin can also be used in poultry to prevent coccidiosis infection and to soak eggs to prevent Mycoplasma turkey transmission.
