Azithromycin is used for various infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as respiratory infections, skin and soft tissue infections.
Azithromycin is suitable for the treatment of the following infectious symptoms caused by sensitive bacteria: 1. For acute pharyngitis, acute tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes and acute attacks of sinusitis, acute otitis media, acute bronchitis and chronic bronchitis caused by sensitive bacteria. 2. For pneumoniae caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, influenza bacillus and Mycoplasma pneumoniae. 3. For urethritis, cervicitis and pelvic inflammatory disease caused by chlamydia and non-multi-drug resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae, simple genital infection caused by non-multidrug-resistant gonococci (co-infection of M. metretia needs to be excluded). 4. For skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria.
