Paclitaxel is a broad-spectrum anti-tumor botanical used to treat ovarian cancer, breast cancer, etc.
The mechanism of action of paclitaxel is mainly to affect the normal function of microtubules, through stable tubulin bound to GDP, so that rapidly dividing tumor cells are restricted in the mitotic stage and cannot be separated, blocking cells in the G2 and M periods of the cell cycle, so that cancer cells are blocked from replication and die.
