Sulbenicillin sodium is a broad-spectrum semi-synthetic penicillin antibiotic whose mechanism of action is to act as a bactericidal effect by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Sulbenicillin sodium can be used for infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Proteus, and other sensitive bacteria, such as purulent inflammation, burns, skin, and soft tissue infections, cholecystitis, respiratory and urinary tract infections.
